First Look – Pucci Fall 2012 – Sexy, Powerful Women at Milan Fashion Week | FashionTV

http://www.FashionTV.com/videos MILAN – The look for Pucci Fall/Winter 2012-2013 is a bit smoky, according to Makeup Artist Lisa Butler, who says there’s a slight gothic feel to it but its not drawn on. Lots of pink colors on the cheeks which makes a mix of both sweetness and darkness. A bit of black pencil underneath the lashes at the bottom rounds out the look. “It’s very clean on the face,” says French model Aymeline Valade, “Very classic. It’s just about beauty on the face.

Hairstylist Luigi Murenu describes the hair as a wispy braid in the front with a back that has gorgeous tousled waves but in a very natural way. There’s a sense of freedom and naturalness. There’s a sense of youth, Murenu adds.

“I always wanted to do Pucci, because it’s about the sexy, powerful girl,” says model Daria Strokous. This time around, designer Peter Dundas focused on a covered up silhouette with a sense of youthfulness, without losing the strong sense behind the Pucci woman. “It’s important, in a way, to stay faithful to the woman but to push her forward as well and make her feel new and fresh every season…I like the body, you know that,” says the designer. He focused on a feminine silhouette with masculine materials like croc and leather. There weren’t many prints (Dundas said the croc was kind of a print in itself) but when there was, it was a Florentine painting style motif.
